Slight seconds. Pink star mugs
These mugs have been hand-thrown on the wheel, then trimmed. They have then had a layer of slip painted on, which has then been carved through (sgraffito) and then dried before being fired to bisque. Then I paint on 2 layers of glaze and fire to stoneware.
Microwave and dishwasher safe, Diameter is 9.5 to 10 cm and height 8.25 to 8.5cm.
As stated, each one is a slight second, nothing major, a patchy bit of colour coverage, or a hairline handle crack. Still perfectly functional, just not perfect!
They hold 350ml (½ to ¾ of a pint in old money) of tea, coffee, hot chocolate or prosecco (who would know!)
